After over a decade of spending hours and hours each day on the Open Directory Project, I now find my life blessed with a daughter that takes up a huge amount of my time. Maybe it is because I am a middle aged mom or maybe all moms go through this but I find I enjoy spending my non-working hours with Bellini rather than online.
What can I say about me? I love the Internet but I think search engines can produce results way out of whack with what we are looking for, hence being involved with the ODP.
Born and raised in South Carolina, my main interests at ODP lie within the Regional branch. I enjoy building up small locales and increasing their presence on the Internet.
Evidence of my hometown editing mentality can be found in the "Join the Hometown Editing Brigade" thread which was actually first runner up in the Mozzie Awards
and most likely has something to do with my being honored by my fellow editors by being named "Best Regional Editor".

While I would love to be able to respond to all feedback received, there simply are not enough hours in the day. As I result, I do not give status updates via email in regards to submitted sites or editor applications.
